what is that for? i heard it allows the custom skin players to play...but im afraid if people can do some other stuff like hacking or some other un-normal shit u know...so can someone tell me what it does?

sv_consistency = "1" (default is 1 )
- Whether the server enforces file consistency for critical files

Turn it to 0, itll be ok.

Doesnt that disable players the ability to use things such as custom weapon skins? If it's set to 1, of course.

If the skins are properly made i.e. their indexes etc are very limited and similar to the stock weapons setting to 1 doesnt matter, if weapons are different (most custom weapons) they will fail and kick player.
