Okay little request, I have this map dotd_crookcounty on my server made by Alex Royce, one of the best mapmapkers out there, but now I have this problem on my server, the map is installed perfectly on my server, but nobody is able to download it... it's like 45mb big, is there any way to fix this that people can download it ingame ? or at least to make the download smaller lol :D

Get redirectspace people will than beable to download the map much faster. And with redirectspace you can compress the maps to the .bz2 format makin the map size even smaller. (.bz2 format is only for redirectspace)

Redirect space is a http:// source on where u can place the maps, sounds and materials that u use on your server. Than u use the command sv_downloadurl "http://homepage.com/cssource" ( the url of the files)

you make a dir structure just like on your pc and / or server

..cstrike
maps
sound
materials

U put the files in the apropiate dir's.
And if u think u can use your webspace for that please keep in mind that you have enough datatraffic for you site, because when a map is 10mb and 100 people download it it's 1gb traffic.

you must put one line in your server.cfg

net_maxfilesize 50

downloadtime long, but it will work
