Getting MetaMod

Hello
ive been looking how to install metamod to get zombie mod on my own server.
my problem: GameInfo.txt keeps re-writting
i tryed everything,
Windows-only batch fix,
Read-Only doesn't even work it STILL changes..any suggestions?

chmod it to read-only

change it to read-only? GameInfo.txt,i changed that to Read-Only. but it STILL Re-writtes.

I'm not sure if this will help in your cause to make a server for yourself. Anyways, try installing the mod on the Dedicated Server that you can download from steam. If thats what your doing right now. Just forget that I ever posted.

Same with me, but just try it. It worked for me when I couldn't get the server to work.
Also here is a site for all the basic and some advance commands for the dedicated server.

off-topic: I know, my signature picture is a little too big. I'm fixing it right now. If the admin (s) wants me to remove it. I'll be sure to do so.

thanks now i got zm,mani and metamod on my DEDicated server,not laggy tho.

Glad that I could help. If the server is still up, I think I'll go join right now.
