whenever i join the server and has this map, it boots me off and says map missing and i don't see the map in the download section, halp!

Most the time this is your map is spelled different, on my server my server runs windows but the ftp that host the files runs unix (which is case sentive) so even thou the map is there the ftp it wont upload map (IE de_yadyad_V1... the V will throw it off) cause it doesnt find it. The windows server it doesnt matter so it will use both... So this is a HEADS up to all map makers, maker ever letter in map name lower case!!!! I have had to remane so many maps to all lower to fix the same problem. The other cause is they updated map but didn't rename it, but usaly it will say you map differs and just goto your map folder and delete then verison you have.

Another thing make sure the server has uploads on, this is if you have not already tried joining other servers running same map running.
