Zmod won't work on my server...

I bought a 10-man server from www.gameservers.com and I used the FTP to upload all Zmod files and all the Metamod files. The mod still won't work even after reinstalling the server twice and re-copying all of the files.

I have emailed them and they answered back that I am able to install it if I use FTP, which I did. Anyone know what is wrong?

Can you tell us a little more other than "The mod still won't work."?

Are you sure metamod is working?
When you type meta does it report a missing command?
What errors does it give you for meta list?

The version of mm I have is the newest one, I use the FTP installer and put all of the files in the right place with the line inserted into the metaplugins.ini

I tried to type 'meta' into the console but it said 'unknown command: meta'

Do I have the files in the wrong place?

I can't access the FTP right now, I am at school, but in about 6 hours I will be home and will be able to.

Did you typed it in your own console. ? because you need to type it in the server's console.

Try HLSW to access your server's console.

New steam update 9/12 broke zombiemod for windows users. Thats why. Changing gameinfo.txt does nothing, if anyone was gonna try that.

Yep.. same problem. Doesn't work for me on windows after removing the meta line from gameinfo.txt and reinstall meta mod shows zm as FAIL when i try meta list.

Linux is working fine after removing the line and reinstalling metamod.
