ZombieMod 4.0

There is one major problem that easily ruins games while playing this mod, and that is taking the time and effort to make a great barricade, just to have some other human player knock it down with his guns or a grenade, and as a result being attacked by zombies. This is a major problem, and its on every single server I’ve played on it.

When I get upset about it and tell the person to stop, they usually insult me, laugh or act like it’s a joke, or just don’t care. What’s worse, is that other players act too lax about the subject and don’t really take it seriously, and act like I’m the bad guy. This means that if that player keeps knocking down your barricade, then no one will support you with a vote kick, if that server allows it.

There has got to be a way to solve this! It’s not the mod, it’s the players, and those who administrate the servers. People just don’t take it seriously and act like hypocrites, telling someone who’s complaining to shut up, but then the tables turn when it happens to them and people tell them to shut up or they just keep quiet about it because they don't want other players to think they're a whiner. For some reason, they don’t learn their lesson and tell the next player complaining about a barricade crasher to shut up again!

Isn’t there a way to get players and admins to take this more seriously? I’m not asking you guys to control people. I’m just asking if anyone has any cleaver ideas that would help lessen this problem. Maybe a map or mod feature, or... a server mod plugin... I dunno...

Don’t get me wrong, I really love this mod! Its lots of fun! But most of the zombie mod games I play are ruined by this crappy attitude, and I just end up quitting out of frustration. It's so frustrating when I find a game I really like, only for the experience to be ruined by other players who have no respect for anyone. It’s very rare that I join a server where other players act respectful and use team work. I'm not going to stop playing, because I like this mod too much. I'm going to keep playing and just hope someone thinks of something.

Can't really do anything about it. Kids will be Kids, Adults will be kids too.

I don't beleive that for a second. I've seen game developers solve all kinds of impossible problems with a cleaver solution, even if it has nothing to do with doing anything to the game it self.

on my servers barricade crashers get banned 7 days

if anyone steps outa line on my server pernament ban, no joke, if they dont play fair they dont play at all

its just part of the game. just deal with it or dont play...

There is truely no way of doing this:

1. Most BD's use grenades, you could ban grenade thowing, but more people need it.

2. Some people use grenades to make barricades, so its extremely hard to tell if that grenade was a mistake.

Hate to say it, but there isn't a clever way with out ruining the fun for everybody.

sorry impossible its just as easy to do as it is to take someones life in rl its imposible to stop its up to the individual

ya i remember when i got "ACCUSED" of breaking baricade and they banned me for like 1 day when it wasn't me...

I just happen to be at wrong place at wrong time...

Story: It was around 8 o'clock when it happen.. lol j-k, anyways it was on zm_lila_panic on the top floor of the building outside, they had it baricaded all up, then someone on the van shot the bookcase down and i was right outside and was shooting but not at baricade and admin thought it was me and kicked me and then i came back on and said wtf it wasn't me who knocked the baricade down. Then he asked, "How you know why i kicked you? you must of done it!" and i said, "Because i saw it happen..." and he was like sure... and banned me...
