hi everyone

i help admin a zombie server and my problem is that too many people hide in object such as vending machines and boxes ect.. i know this might be a valve problem but is there anything that can be done from the mod side? i thought one suggestion would be to just turn them into a zombie if they sat inside of a object. just a thought. corbin

"too many people hide in boxes and stuff."

Now, that is the essence of zombiemod. If a zombie horde was chasing you, wouldn't you hide in a box or a vending machine?

Go ahead and turn the hiders into zombies, but you will lose players because that is just stupid.

When people on my server hide in crates/vendingmachine they are zombiefied easily.Player can push/pull them away.

i understand that but if you can't find them because there hiding in a machine i think is just lame.. seriously hiding in the machine is more a exploit than a hiding space.

well then add a camper script but then that may interfere with small room baricade... You can't do anything from mod side to change this. Its just natural to us humans :).

well thx for the ideas guys but i dont see them as a good alternative. i was hoping for a server mod that could help with people getting inside things or getting stuck inside or on items. some people are soo good with the use key, they can actually run right through some barricades with ease. i just assumed there could be some better options.
